Sun World Halong Complex: The Complete Guide
With an extensive list of recreational amenities, Sun World Halong Complex has become a must-go attraction for tourists to Halong Bay.

Overview
Located in the heart of Halong City, Sun World Halong Complex continues to be one of Halong Bay’s premier attractions, having opened to the public in 2017. It is recognized as the leading entertainment destination in northern Vietnam, offering a state-of-the-art gaming system and a wide array of recreational activities suitable for visitors of all ages. The expansive theme park spans over 214 hectares and consists of three main areas: the Queen Cable Car & Mystic Mountain, Dragon Park, and Typhoon Water Park. As of 2025, the complex has introduced several new attractions and upgraded facilities, enhancing the overall visitor experience.
Best time to go

Sun World Halong Park is best visited from May to September as this period allows you to enjoy all the attractions with minimal weather disruptions. However, on weekends throughout May, June, and July, an additional fee of 50,000 VND applies for entrance tickets to Dragon Park, Typhoon Park, and the combo ticket. If you plan to visit during this peak season, be prepared for an influx of domestic tourists, particularly as the summer school holidays commence.
During the winter months from October to April, Typhoon Water Park remains closed for routine maintenance, therefore, aquatic activities are not available. This maintenance has now been completed, and the park is back in operation.
